Volunteers wanted:
Do you want to join the Carlton Connected Communities Committee?

What are we trying to do?

The Carlton Connected Communities Committee involves a group of Carlton locals working with Carlton branch of the Bendigo Bank to establish and manage a fund that will direct profits into community projects in the Carlton area.

The community fund will support projects and activities driven by Carlton community members and organisations. Revenue for the fund will be generated through the support of the Bendigo Bank Carlton branch – www.bendigobank.com.au

The committee is working to:
> Establish a strong committee, representing a range of groups in Carlton: Do you want to be involved?
> Seek pledges from the Carlton community for new and existing banking business at the Bendigo Bank Carlton branch: Do you want to talk about your banking?
> And develop the criteria/categories for funding from the Community Fund: Do you want to shape the way the fund best responds to community needs?

Who we are?

The committee includes a number of local Carlton residents, agencies and organisations, and we’re looking for new members. We meet on a monthly basis – for just 1 hour a month, your input can make a difference.

Why are we part of the Carlton Connected Communities Committee?

We know that there are always good ideas from local organisations, sporting clubs and individuals to make Carlton a better place, and we want to create a way to fund local projects, with support from the Bendigo Bank.

We believe that a strong committee that represents the Carlton community can ensure that the fund is best directed to community needs. Key roles of the committee include establishing the fund and its direction, administration, promotion and marketing, and new ideas.

Who can benefit?

Once the fund is established, we will be seeking applications from community projects, community groups and agencies, not for profits, schools, sporting clubs, Individuals, and others with interest in the Carlton community.

The committee will establish the fund criteria and grants funding will be promoted through the community.
