CARLTON BATHS AND FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE REDEVELOPMENT

The City of Melbourne is pleased to announce the $10.4 million redevelopment of the Carlton Baths and Family Resource Centre is going ahead. This exciting project will create a state of the art community centre and is an important element of the City of Melbourne’s community infrastructure for Carlton.

Temporary Relocation of Carlton Family Resource Centre

Carlton Family Resource Centre is moving!

Throughout the construction period, programs and services currently provided at the Carlton Family Resource Centre (216 Rathdowne Street) will be offered at the Kathleen Syme Centre, 249 Faraday Street, Carlton for a period of approximately 12 months. This includes:

> Maternal and child health appointments
> Immunisation sessions
> Playgroups
> Family support and counselling
> Group programs (Mother Goose, New Parent)
> Breastfeeding clinic
> Baby capsule and bus hire
> Paediatric Fellow appointments

To prepare for the relocation, Carlton Family Resource Centre will close its doors at 216 Rathdowne Street at 5pm on Wednesday 19 October 2011.

Programs and services will resume at the Kathleen Syme Centre from 9am on Tuesday 25 October 2011.
