Opportunities for Carlton 2009 to 2012
The Opportunities for Carlton (OFC) project is a
City of Melbourne three year community strengthening
initiative, which is funded in partnership with
the Victorian State Government.
Through this project, the City of Melbourne will
support Carlton's residents, businesses, organisations
and public institutions to work collaboratively
to plan, coordinate and deliver targeted responses
to local issues.
Carlton community plan
The Carlton
Community Plan was formally launched in September
2010. There were extensive contributions by the
Carlton community to identify shared challenges,
priorities and actions to make Carlton a vibrant,
inclusive, equitable and thriving place to live
work, study and visit. This plan will guide the
work of the OFC over the three year period.
A Mid-Year
review was completed in July 2011

OFC Evaluation survey July 2011 summary
In July 2011 the City of Melbourne Opportunities
for Carlton project undertook a network mid project
evaluation survey, inviting the OFC network to participate.
The survey aimed to provide stakeholders with the
opportunity to share views, highlight the benefits
and challenges to inform the future planning for
the project. Below is a snap shot of the results
of this survey.
